PUBLIC ENTITY REPRESENTATION
The firm provides general counsel representation to several local public agencies. Our services include understanding and navigating the entity's operational authorities and limitations arising under Idaho law, while also addressing the overlay of applicable federal laws. Representation services include contract drafting and review, employment law services, advocacy in administrative proceedings, advising the administration and governing boards, and providing representation in litigation when appropriate.
MEDIATIONS
Marc Lyons offers private mediations for civil disputes and active litigation matters. Marc has successfully resolved many complicated cases and applies his decades of experience as a litigator to help parties reach appropriate resolutions. We can perform mediations at our offices or off-site, as the parties desire.
REAL ESTATE SERVICES
The firm's real estate practice offers a wide range of real estate services including reviewing and advising on large-scale acquisitions, completing due diligence protocols, reviewing and assessing title policies, drafting easements, litigating real estate disputes, and representing clients in local land use matters.
EMPLOYMENT - INDEPENDENT INVESTIGATIONS
We offer a range of employment law services including training management on applicable state and federal employment laws, drafting employee handbooks and policies, and conducting independent third-party investigations. We have successfully represented employers in Idaho Human Rights Commission Complaints, and administrative proceedings with the Office for Civil Rights and the EEOC.
BUSINESS LAW SERVICES
Our business law services include advising on and drafting documents for business formations, and commercial contracts. We act as general counsel to several public and private companies, as well as several public agencies.
