MEDIATION
Lyons O’Dowd offers mediation services for civil disputes and active litigation matters, led by experienced Mediators Marc Lyons and Megan O’Dowd. Together, they bring over 40 years of expertise in civil litigation, business disputes, contract negotiations, employment conflicts, and real estate matters. With extensive experience participating in countless mediations themselves, Marc and Megan deeply understand the value of the process and the unique opportunity it provides for parties to actively engage in shaping their own resolutions.
Mediations are offered at our Coeur d’Alene office, off-site or via Zoom and can be conducted with one or both mediators, depending on the needs of the parties and the complexities of the underlying issues.
Megan O’Dowd
Megan has over 15 years of experience in litigation, with a primary focus on real estate disputes, as well as extensive work in contract disputes, business conflicts, and employment matters. She appreciates mediation as a more collaborative alternative to the formal courtroom setting, fostering a comfortable environment where parties can feel heard while addressing key issues and exploring practical solutions. While not every mediation results in resolution, Megan firmly believes that self-directed outcomes are typically more satisfying and effective than court-imposed decisions.
Marc Lyons
Marc has over three decades of experience as a litigator, which has prepared him for conflict resolution in real estate matters, employment, personal injury, business, probates, trusts, estates and municipal disputes.
